It will always generate more wealth for foreign and local capitalists to extract every bit of currency from your own people.
Personally I only see hope in mass revolution and cooperation (very unlikely) or corporatism (complete control of capital by the state).

Also socialists moralfag a lot and end up with a country that doesn't have any real ideological or mythological goals due to morals being a product of a power dynamic rather than an expression of will (it's literally internalized laws).
